| CIAI an organization that activley promotes the protection of all animals , has been overwhelmed with reports of injured carraige horses in several small towns in Ontario. The reports have included a horse bleeding from the mouth , an injured hoof and two horses who fell unconcious from heat exaustion. |

| As concerned citizens reports to CIAI and local police began to pile up it became clear that actions needed to be taken to protect the plight of these animals. While CIAI realizes that importance of these animals to their owners , we also realize the importance of their care and safety. In two of the accounts the owners have refused to get immediate help for their animals injuries - something that will not be tolerated. |

| CIAI is calling on the community and township to take action for these animals and insure their well-being. CIAI is also asking that water be provided for these animals for the duration of the summer months , and shelter from the elements be provided for the on coming harsh winters that sweep Ontario. We hope that bringing attention to this situation will help to be part of the solution in putting an end to injured , sick and tired animals. |
